Due to the overwhelming response to the Inaugural Market To Market Relay (200 Teams registering three months in advance) a hybrid lottery system has been set up to create a fair system for new teams wanting to get into the event and giving teams that competed in 2009 an opportunity to sign up again.

In 2010 we will be accepting 230 Teams for the Market To Market Relay.

On May 3rd at 7:45 am a password will be sent out to team captains giving them access to a first come first serve registration period that starts at 8:01 am on May 3rd. The registration period will last for only one day and will be first come first serve. The 2009 Captain's Advance registration will take up to the first 100 teams that sign up for the event.

The registration lottery will open up on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 8:01 am and end on Saturday, May 8, at 11:59 pm. On May 10th M2M will randomly select 100 teams from the lottery to compete in the Market To Market Relay. Teams not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. If there are less than 100 teams that sign-up during the general lottery period every team that signed up gets into the event and open registration will begin May 24th on a first come, first serve basis.

[2] What information do I need to provide to register? Team Captain, Phone Number, Email Address, Mailing Address.

[3] We do not need a list of runners when you send in your entry. A preliminary team roster must be submitted by July 9, 2010, and your final roster closer to race time.

$10 per entry for the lottery with all funds supporting the Nebraska Trails Foundation to help build and maintain Nebraska Trails. *Only one submission per team captain. If your team captain submits more than one entry, your team will be eliminated from the lottery.

At least 80 teams will be selected from the lottery, if your team gets into the event via the lottery your Entry Fee will be $390.

Open registration will begin Saturday, May 22, 2010, if the relay does not sell out during the Lottery Period. If Open Registration begins it will be on a first come, first serve basis until all spots are FULL.
