Registration for the 2012 Market to Market Relay is just around the corner. This event continues to SELL OUT every year. We have attempted to make a fair system that allows new teams into the event and also gives teams that competed in the previous year an opportunity for priority registration. Please note that the Market to Market Relay has sold out every single year of its existence. This year we are expanding to 300 teams.

Previous Year Priority Registration: 125 Teams
Previous Year Volunteer Teams: Up to 10 Teams
Previous Year Award Winners: 40 Teams (Award Winners and Contest Winners)
Sponsors Teams: 15 to 30 (Sponsor the running relay race and reserve a spot)
Out of State Lottery: 10 Teams
General Lottery: Remainder of Teams 80 to 95 Spots

[1] Minimum Team Speed: Teams are required to run an average of 10-minute miles.

[2] What information do I need to provide to register? Team Captain, Phone Number, Email Address, Mailing Address.

[3] We do not need a list of runners when you send in your entry. An Initial Team Roster must be submitted by July 15th, 2012 and your Final Team Roster will be due September 15th, 2012.

On May 7th at 7:45 am a password will be sent out to team captains giving them access to a first come first serve registration period that starts at 8:01 am on Monday May 7th, 2012. The registration period will last for only one day and will be first come first serve. The Previous Year Priority Registration will take up to the first 125 teams that sign up for the event. (Last year sold out in 2 minutes).

The registration lottery will open up on Tuesday May 8th, 2011, at 8:01 am and end on Friday May 18th, at 11:59 pm. On May 19th M2M will randomly select 80 to 95 teams from the lottery to compete in the 2012 Market to Market Relay. The number of teams will depend on the number of teams that accept their reserved spots (winning teams, sponsors teams, and volunteer teams) Teams not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.

A $15 fee will be charged for each lottery entry. All lottery entry fees will support Non-Profit and Community Organizations to help build a better Nebraska. *Only one submission per team captain. If your team captain submits more than one entry, your team will be eliminated from the lottery. At least 80 teams will be selected from the lottery. If your team gets into the event via the lottery your team will need to pay the $450 entry fee.

This is a special category only for teams with all members out of state, to encourage tourism. You will be required to verify your address and provide information for your team members. This registration lottery will open up on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011, at 8:01 am and end on Friday, May 13th, at 11:59 pm. On May 14th M2M will randomly select the 10 teams from the lottery to compete in the Market To Market Relay. $15 per entry for the lottery with all funds supporting the Non-Profit and Community Organizations to help build a better Nebraska. *Only one submission per team captain. If your team captain submits more than one entry, your team will be eliminated from the lottery.
